KEYNOTE
CAPT Nick "Mongo" Mongillo, USN (Ret)
We’re excited to spotlight our featured speaker for this year’s Executive Conference – Nick “Mongo” Mongillo, former US Navy fighter pilot and TOPGUN instructor.
Culture of Excellence: How High-Performing Teams Build, Sustain, and Win
What separates good organizations from truly exceptional ones? CAPT Nick “Mongo” Mongillo brings a unique perspective shaped by 28 years of naval aviation service, combat operations, and command of one of the Navy’s premier F/A-18 Super Hornet squadrons.
In this engaging and patriotic keynote, Mongo shares powerful real-world stories from combat, adversity, leadership, and command to demonstrate how high-performing teams build and sustain a Culture of Excellence through three core pillars:
Elite Execution | Accountability | Leadership Through Elevating Others
Through lessons learned from a Desert Storm Iraqi MiG-21 shootdown, a career-threatening F-16 ejection and recovery, service as the TOPGUN Executive Officer and Tactics Instructor, and command of a combat-deployed Super Hornet squadron, attendees will discover how winning cultures are intentionally built and relentlessly sustained.
Attendees will walk away with practical insights to:
- Build a culture that drives consistent high performance and winning results
- Strengthen accountability at every level of the organization
- Lead through trust, development, and empowerment of others
- Execute effectively under pressure and uncertainty
Join us on September 1st as CAPT Mongillo shares lessons from some of the world’s most demanding environments and reveals how leaders can create a Culture of Excellence that endures long after the mission is complete.
Afternoon - Golf, Spa, Hiking, or Biking
